Product Description

Ceftriaxone Injection IP is an antibiotic medication that belongs to the class of drugs known as cephalosporins. It is commonly used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections including those that cause respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, meningitis, septicemia (bloodstream infections), and certain sexually transmitted infections. This is a cephalosporin antibiotic, effectively works by interfering with the formation of the bacteria's cell wall. In result, the wall gets ruptured, leading to the death of the bacteria. This Ceftriaxone Injection IP is also used preoperatively in order to reduce the risk of postoperative infections.
