Product Description

Glycopyrrolate Injection USP is commonly used in medical procedures, such as during anesthesia, to decrease salivation and respiratory secretions. It is also used to manage excessive drooling (sialorrhea) in certain conditions like Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy, or during certain treatments, such as radiation therapy. Additionally, it can be used to treat peptic ulcers or to control some symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. This Glycopyrrolate Injection USP acts by blocking the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that plays a role in stimulating certain involuntary muscle movements and secretions. By inhibiting the effects of acetylcholine, it helps to reduce excessive secretions.
